Tallow Honey Gold

Skin and Lip Balm

Hello, Bobby Vincench here!

"Tallow Honey Gold" is a simple natural skin and lip balm made with mostly organic or non-GMO ingredients. The balm is small batch crafted and packaged with care and love by our Long Island family.

Originally, this balm was crafted with our own family's health in mind. We didn't want to rub more chemicals into our skin, we found that most products didn't actually moisturize our skin, and we were dealing with skin issues like eczema and chronically dry skin that needed a better solution. So we worked on crafting a tallow-based balm that worked perfectly for us, and now we are offering it to all of you as well!

The balm is sold in individual golden tins (2 ounces each) and comes with a safety seal around the lid. All four ingredients are listed clearly on the label: Non-GMO USA Beef Tallow, Organic Beeswax, Organic Olive Oil, Manuka Honey.

What's so good about beef tallow for the skin?

Beef tallow is deeply moisturizing and easily absorbed by human skin. It's rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, all of which support skin health. Thanks to the special blend in Tallow Honey Gold of our non-GMO USA beef tallow plus beeswax, olive oil, and healing Manuka honey, you may find that this special balm helps sooth irritation, redness, and possibly even conditions like eczema or psoriasis (we can't guarantee it, but this has been our experience). It feels amazing on the skin... give it a try!

Who makes this balm?

Our family makes it right here on Long Island at our home! It's the same exact tallow we make for ourselves, and now we offer it to you and your loved ones so you can hopefully benefit from it like we do.

I noticed some slight variation in color and natural scent when I bought another tin.

We use a meticulous recipe and process to make Tallow Honey Gold, but the truth is that the ingredients may vary slightly from batch to batch. Because of this reality, the color can be slightly more or less "golden" depending on the batch, and the scent can have slightly more or less of a honey smell, or olive smell, and so on. The tallow, for instance, comes from different animals with each batch. The beeswax comes from different bees with different batches. Same with the Manuka honey and olive oil. So while we aim to use the same quality ingredients with each batch (either non-GMO or organic in all cases), the actual qualities and characteristics of each batch will depend on how the cows and bees lived their lives, and how the olives grew in their unique conditions. What we can guarantee is that we always use the best ingredients we can, and the ingredients are always non-GMO or organic. With all of this considered, and since this product is not a commercial product (there may even adjust the recipe slightly as we improve it)... slight variations are to be expected. The product will always be as clean and simple as the ingredients list shows!

It's a bit of a challenge to get the balm on my finger when I first open the tin. What's the trick?

Ah, yes. The perfectly smooth surface of each tin when first opened makes it a bit of a challenge to get a "scoop" of balm for your skin and/or lips. HERE'S THE TRICK: DIG A NICE LITTLE HOLE WITH YOUR FINGER. Your first scoop should break the surface and allow you to more easily get some Honey Tallow Gold balm onto you finger for the rest of your usage.
